Rare Candy?

Are you guys using your Rare Candies? And if so, on what mons? I haven't used any yet but am strongly considering using it on Tyranitar. I don't have a lvl 30 one yet. Should I?

I was gonna use it to turn my Chansey into Blissey because I don't have one yet, but Blissey doesn't matter anymore so I'm basically just saving it until Niantic realizes this new system sucks and tweaks it.

For now, investing into Raid-Relevant Pokémon (like TTar and Dnite) sounds like a good move

My friends and I are saving them till tomorrow to see if the Raid Bosses change into a Legendary

Why would they change into legendary tommorow?

But I don't think they're releasing legendaries yet.

Maybe they'll ANNOUNCE a later time when they'll be introduced but I doubt even that.

They already announced that raids may contain legendaries. Anniversary seems like a nice time to kick it off.

One rumor is that will be released during the Chicago event.

Saving for now until I have enough for a Tyranitar as well as TMs.

I've been using my rare candy to power up my, now useful, 95% IV DT/Outrage Dragonite. (He had SW/HB and was just sitting there at level 20)

I don't know about everyone else, but I aways thought that rare candies just exist for the legendaries. If you think that walk 400 km and hatch a few larvitar from eggs is too hard, wait to see how hard it will be to take your legends to lvl 30+, imagining they will all be 5km buddies.

Legendaries might be 10 km buddies. After all, if everyone has 6 maxed out Mewtwos, the game will be kinda boring.

Agreed. Haven't spent a single one of mine. Up to 90 rare candy now. Will continue to pile up for a while until either I get a Legendary or my inventory gets too crammed, in which case I will probably use it for Tyranitar or Dragonite.

Just use them on any strong, meta-defining Pokemon you wish. Rare candies aren't rare.

I'm not spending ALL of mine just in case something does happen when I'd need a lot. But I'm not hoarding it either and have spend some on my only Tyranitar (in the hope that I'll eventually get a charge TM to fix its FB) and my DT/H Dragonite.

Still hoarding, still waiting for that perfect/near perfect Dratini or Larvitar.

I'm saving my candies for Legendary mons.

I am hoping for extra dust anniversary event. In finally at a high enough level where it takes considerable time to ding the next one. All the mons I've been investing in are maxed. I have several other project mons in the works. My goal in the possibly fictitious dusty anniversary would be to bring up a million. If I do this I will blow the rest of my candy on Hitmontop (100% c/c.c). Tyrogue is a rare hatch and the hitmons are seldom wild. YOLO!
