Randomly Lost a Quest Encounter

Had a Chansey quest (hatch 5 eggs). Clicked on the quest encounter reward, and never got the encounter. It just absorbed the quest and nothing else happened.

I'm hoping it's sitting in my encounters stack (behind 2 dratinis, and probably 1-3 squirtle squad as the same bug happened on a few of those quests). Don't want to check though, as I planned to save those dratinis for "Catch a Dragon Type" quests.

Can anyone confirm it would be there to ease my mind? Kind of sucks to waste a quest spot for so long to not get my Chansey :|

It should still be there. This happened to me a lot today with the Squirtle encounters.

Don't worry, it's still there.

After the last update the game has started to freeze when I click on the quest encounter (not every time, but most times). After restarting the app the quest encounter is saved so I can do it later.
I usually save quite a few and then catch them all at a later time.

Happened to me a few times today during the squirtle hunt. I chalked it up to the weather overheating my phone. It seems like it was having trouble transitioning from the research reward tag to the encounter tag. After I reloaded the game I had the extra research slot and I went right into the encounter when I got the tag

More lockups today than any other in months. At least 1/2 the encounter screen actions = reboot of game. Figure I lost 20-30 minutes of playtime waiting for reloads.
