Raids on gyms with upcoming EX-Raids?
I guess Niantic changed something about the EX-Raid system? Because I remember gyms with an upcoming EX-Raid being blocked from regular raids until the EX-Raid is over, but now I see raids on gyms that have an EX-Raid tomorrow. Was there any announcement from Niantic?

There wasn't an official announcement, but Niantic support did reply to the question on Twitter: https://twitter.com/NianticHelp/status/1045735080369549312
Nothing confirmed yet, but I'm pretty sure that raiding at a pending EX gym will not grant you pass for the upcoming raid, although activity there should hopefully grant you credit for when the next wave of passes go out. Still all very new so only time will tell.
