Raid time limit

Hi,

Isn't raid supposed to have a 5 minute limit? From my experience and from videos the time limit is a lot less.
Is it related to the raid level?

I've only done one tier/level 3 raid (Arcanine) and 180 seconds (3 min.) per battle. It appears level = minutes.

I believe its 180 seconds (3 minutes) to beat the raid boss once the battle begins.

Ive done level 2, 3 and 4 and they were all 180 seconds.

They announced that it was 5 minutes, but it is definitely not 5 minutes for the battle. I think their measurement might be counting the time for matchmaking and choosing your attackers. Seems wrong to include loading times in match length, but that is the only reason that could explain how they arrived at that 5 minute figure.

Yes, 2 minutes in the lobby, few seconds start anymation, 3 minutes minus few seconds the fight. Total 5 minutes.

I wish it would be 5 minutes to battle because then I would have beaten a Vaporeon in a Raid. I still had two Jolteons left and about 10% of the Vaporeons health bar was filled. Totally could have beat it if. It was only me but still pretty confident I could have beat it.

I am level 38 and have in all raids 65 seconds?
