Raid level?

Someone may have already asked this, but what level do you have to be to participate in raids? Just saw an egg on top of a gym, but it said my trainer level (27) was to low to participate.

Beta is 35. Will definitely change in the future though. There are raid drops tailored for level 10 players according to the data mine. Right now, it's just 35 for trial.

Minimum level required to participate in raid is Level 35

I was unhappy about that 35 cap too.....being level 32. But they mentioned more players will have the ability to do raids in the next few days. my guess is they will drop it too level 30 by Saturday.

Yeah Niantic said they would be doing a beta test for raids with high level players first. They said they'd be slowly rolling raids out though, so most likely after about a week they'll lower the level down more.
