Raid Guide Update Under Friendship System

I hope Gamepresser could update the old raid guides like Snorlax, Lapras if they reroll back as raid bosses in the upcoming event. I think under friendship system those previous only duoable/soloable boss in certain weather could be much easier now.

They normally update guides as raid bosses come back into rotation. You wanna talk about outdated guides look at Arcanine. That guide hasn't even been updated for Gen 3 Pokemon, much less weather and friendship boosts.

As long as they will update it's fine. If these old bosses won't come back in rotation then no bother. But still curious whether duoing Snorlax/Lapras would be an easier job now, as their candy are pretty rare.

As far as Snorlax, the cloudy weather boost is better. 6 15 atk level 40 Machamps with best friend boost just barely make it duoable without weather, whereas with no friend boost but clouds (and C/DP), it's solidly possible. I don't know how far down friendship pushes the cloudy breakpoints though.

I was thinking they add the friendship damage bonus to the DPS*TDO spreadsheets

Lapras has always been duoable with no weather boost or friendship.

Snorlax cannot be duoed without either boost but can be duoed with either friendship or weather.

But neither can be catapulted to solo with a friendship boost because.....there is no friendship boost in a solo

Lol I'm not sure if there's any Tier 4&+ boss can be soloed. Without weather boost duoing Lapras requires two teams of level 40 Raikou if I remember correctly, which is impossible for most trainers. Thinking that with friendship Machamp could take over the job and have it done reliably.

Teeeeechnically, Moltres as a Tier 4 with 300 seconds (via starting the three hour clock late) is soloable with enough rock Ttar.

In standard Niantic fashion, think of it as an unexpected feature...not a bug.

Nothing that's been in tier 4 has even a remote chance of being soloable.

As for tier 3, the only boss that hasn't been soloed is Shuckle, which if I remember correctly would require Primal Kyogre with OP in Rainy or something ridiculous like that. Apart from that, all old tier 3 bosses whose guides haven't been updated were always soloable.

No you wouldn't. Even with best friends and weather boost a hit squad full of maxed perfect C/DP Machamp averages around 93% TDO before the timer runs out against its easiest moveset and around 84% against its hardest. Besides, doesn't your friend need to actually be in the fight with you for the friend bonus to kick in?

Right you are, that's literally the only way to solo a Shuckle. Rain is a must according to simulations. Even with all that, it takes almost the full raid timer to clear.
