Hi Guys,

So this has probably been covered before but... Does anyone else have major major difficulty catching raid bosses, even the 1 star bosses?

I use razz's and golden razz's and I always fail miserably. There must be something I'm doing wrong :/

Because of their higher levels they are always harder but my luck always changes..... Quilava couldn't catch in 11 tries. Venasaur and Alakazaam caught first tries in same day. Some time you just have bad days lol.

I just use golden razz and curve throws. Never missed a boss yet, im not a big raider tho (only Croconaw, Exeggutor, Snorlax and Tyranitar). Totally RNG.

I was able to capture all of the Tier 1's easily by myself but the Tier 2 are a different story. I was able to capture Exeggutor, Electrabuzz, and Magmar but not Muk and Weezing. Even though, I use Rock and Psychic types. The Tier 3 and Tier 4 ones need multiple players to take down.

Wrong end of the stick bro, beating them down is fine it's capturing them. Just everything I do they seem to escape.

The only time a Muk escaped was when I ran out of premier balls lol....did not have one escape while trying to capture.

I haven't missed a 1 or a 2 level boss yet.

Berries and curves. Note you can re-berry after a throw or two. The effect wears off quickly.

I always razz every throw, I try not to golden razz as it's a waste, but I do sometimes have to.

Some people are using nanab's, anyone else find these really help? :S

I'll throw a golden berry if it's a good boss or the balls start to get low. Got to use them for something.

Don't find it hard... lv1 to 4 ... Done 19 Raids and caught 19

Haven't been close to having one run ... maybe lowest was 5 balls left
