Raid capture rate

Is the raid boss capture rate the same as wild encounter?
I want to farm eggys as they only spawned in my area during the grass event and I have only one, not fully powered. Was wandering whether it will be worth using a pinnap instead of a razz to double the candies.
For wild eggys its beneficial.
