Raid Battle?

there is a new tab called raid next to sightings, you will see it there as long you are in the radius

You get informed if a raid is near you. From were I was today I could see 17 gyms and 10 of them were raids or eggs for raids. A bit too much when you turn on the app and you get 10 times the same message on your screen.

I think you only get notifications from the gyms that you can actually see; which in my opinion is not very useful. Why would I need a notification if I can see it by myself just by checking the map?????

Go at a time when the raids are active. Based on my observations, those are roughly raid hours: 10am to 1pm, 3pm to 5pm. 7pm to 9pm. You will have the best shot at the above time.
