People is the key. I had a level 4 Lapras raid today. I'm level 29, found two other people, lvs 28 and 30, my Pokemon weren't even max leveled to match my trainer level, used mostly 1800-2400 CP mons. Combined, our best run on the Lapras (21k CP) was about 45-50% of its HP. After almost giving up, we wound up finding 5 other players to HANDILY conquer the raid. It becomes way easier when you can get 5+ people close to or above your trainer level. It's also really important to have enough decent mons who have TYPE ADVANTAGE now that it got a damage mod. Also bring 1-2 mons for survival. It becomes way more convenient having a numbers advantage in the raid as well, not as much pressure, and you still get the same amount of rewards. I got a ton of rewards from the raid. Best of luck!
For raid above lvl 3
For raid above lvl 3, does cp really matter or how many ppls is the key? I know higher cp help, but 6 3k can't solo lvl 3 raid. I want to know how much cp I need power up my team to suit lvl 3 or 4 raid.
Dust is really rare now.

I been thinking that raids are an opportunity to further improve the game for experienced higher level players...
The game should be re-calibrated up to level 100 and players at level 40 assigned a level between 40-60 depending on their XP.
This would give players to ability to power up super mons to take on raid bosses with smaller numbers of players.
This doesn't really help rural players as it can be harder to get to higher levels in remote areas.
The super mons could get demotivated quickly in gyms so could be best kept for raids or times when you only want a short stay in the gym ... with the right settings they would return overnight, unless players were constantly feeding them berries every 3-4 hours.
I know Niantic will probably take little notice, but if we make some helpful suggestions they may get through.
