Question on RNG

I really believe now something is wrong with my gamer tag or something I know it's sound crazy and I am sure it is but I went back to machop nest today to get another 150 candies using all my pinap berries to try again. I've now done 15 evolutions since gen 2 and still do not have C/DP with my last 5 all getting exactly BP/HS...I am honestly on the verge of quitting this game

Sorry to hear about your luck. I went 9 Piloswines before getting one with avalanche and it was the 44% I evolved >_<

9 Piloswines? Cloyster/Dewgong and other ice and/or fairy pokémon may also be the good options against Dragonites, as well as Dragonite/Ditto.

I Sometimes wonder if the RNG seed for this game is based off date of starting rather then current time like it usually is virtually every rhydon I've evolved has been mudlap/earthquack but I have been unable to evolve any fighter with decent moves. (my last one was 100% polywrath rock smash/hydropump last machamp 98% double steel)

On the other hand someone has to be struck with the low probability events. There is probably some lucky bugger out there who has never had a bad evolve.

Nah, it's not you, it's the way RNG games are based. You'll find that in any other MMO base or farming base game. Warframe and ESO just to name two as an example. Oh wait, all of EA Sport games that have you play for cards.

Random is not just random for everything. It depends on the sampling group. Will the randomness including different players or just one player. In my POV, the randomness is among different Pokémon for one player. So it is very likely you have good luck evolving a few other Pokémons and got best moveset on the first try and for certain one, you will not have this luck. So I wanna ask, do you have Pokémons which evolves into the best moveset on your try? If yes, I guess that answers your question.
