Question about Snorlax

So I just hatched this bad boy with 98% IV. Sure - moveset is not that great. I already have 100% Snorlax with Lick/Hyper Beam and I intend to keep him that way. It's fun to use.

My question is - should I get Zen Headbutt on that 98%? Or wait and see what will happen in December with moves for Snorlax? I really think he needs some better options to make him a solid defender.

With that being said what moves do you think could make him more of a force to be reckoned with? Let's discuss.

If I was going to do anything with that guy, I'd charge TM him. Either HS or HB will be an improvement. Lick is generally more useful than ZH these days.
Since you already have a L/HB, it is probably better to hang onto him as-is for the time being.

Thanks for answer. I'm out of charge TM's at the moment so I decided to keep him as he is. One thing Pokemon Go favors more often than not is patience.

Does snolax even have much value in the current meta? With defenses being essentially a non factor and raid having more to do with DPS and the timer, there currently isn't a lot of value for a tank. I would hold onto him and see how the meta changes in the future.

For now - unfortunately no. That's the thing with current gym system - players are better off investing into decent attackers since offence is much more important. Hopefully it will change and give every pokemon somewhat equal footing.
