question about powering up

Just hit level 37 and instantly maxed my 100% iv Vaporeon and the power up button isnt there anymore? I'm pretty sure its only level 39 and not level 40 yet...weird i guess?

The power-up button will reappear once you level up again. I'm assuming it's a bug that was introduced several updates ago (when reports of this first started appearing) that only seems to affect higher level trainers. My brother's account is only lvl 26, and Mons maxed out at his level still have the power-up button grayed out.

It disappeared cuz you shouldnt be powering up a vaporeon.

Its still a decent attacker and it was also my first 100% pokemon ever

Back in the day 39.5 was the max level for pokemon. Now with the fix to level 40 it makes it so at level 37 your Pokémon look maxed out at level 39. Once you level up you will be fine.
