Q about Power Up (600-1500cp range)
Hi guys this is babyFreez3 from #TeamValor, my level is 34.
I will keep it as simple as I can, not sure whether to power up or not , I want to get your opinions , I'll give you moveset and iv explanation below.
*My question is should I power up to max my pokemons in order to use them as attackers against enemy gyms or should I keep them as they are for prestiging purposes.
cp range starts from 1589 descending
1- [1589CP]scizor - fury cutter/iron head - 95.6%
2-[1435CP]omastar - water gun/hydro pump - 91.1%
3-[1388CP]slowking - confusion/psychic - 91.1%
4-[1380CP]kingdra - dragon breath/hydro pump97.8%
5-[1268CP]arcanine - fire fang/fire blast - 82.2%
6-[1101CP]scizor - bullet punch/ iron head - 88.9%
7-[808CP]gengar - shadow claw/shadow ball - 88.9%
8- [684CP]sudoowodo - rock throw/stone edge 84.4%
9-[602CP]feraligatr - water gun/hydro pump - 86.7%

I have a hard time advising a dust investment for a steel moves Scizor. He doesn't really shine in his niche without the bug set FC/XS for me.
That Archanine can do some work depending on your Flareon situation.
I'm not a big fan of Gengar but that one can also perform OK as an attacker.
The rest can do somethings but are all outclassed by other mons.
yeah it does not sound wise to me to power up steel types scizor , not effective against most mons except rock etc.
I don't have flareon , I may opt to keep arcanine as it is , not leveling it up because it's in a good prestige range and its iv is not great.
gengar , yeah I won't do anything about it

I have a 28 steel combo scizor and he did not had a fight since first days after evolve.
I have various Arcanine and fire attackers, they het rarely used, more just for fun(2 lvl 30 ones to preztige a 3 k blissey).
I have 3 2100+ Old gengars, rarely used, for fun.
Hydropumpers? Only if you have 0 hp or at vapes. Even wp vape outclasses all of them in fact, so if you have zero attackinv vapes :).
