q about blissey-dragonite-vaporeon

Hello guys , this is babyFreez3 from TeamValor# lvl 33 atm.

I have recently decided to make some adjustments in my inventory , I have couple of pokemons which are considered little bit worse moveset wise , I want to know if I keep them or let them go because of new movesets,

Blissey 86.7 IV = pound/psychic 1700cp-ish
Vaporeon 100 IV = water gun/water pulse max cp
(I did it because it was the best defensive moveset earlier)
Dragonite 86.7 IV = steel wing/dragon pulse (max cp 3200-ish)

my question is how could we evaluate them in terms of new gym system and movesets? are they still viable ?
thanks for your comments.

By "let them go" do you mean send to the professor? Or just no longer level them up in lieu of better options?

You wouldn't transfer them…

Would you? 100 IV Vaporeon...

If you ever plan on trading my answer would be no. All three have some trade value.

Blissey-That moveset and IV are fine just not the best.

Vape: Any 100% mon will have value and moveset rerolls may come out some day. Plus that is still a functional moveset even if ti isn't the best.

Dragonite: This moveset also works fine on defense but since so many folks can attack Dragons with dragons it has lost some luster. Still SW gives type coverage against Lapras and Tyranitar.

In the end it is up to you but these are certainly not what most of us would consider worthless mons.

Blissey is always excellent, that Vape is good, the Dnite can be better. Like GamePress stated Dragon Pulse is a worse Outrage. I'm sure at that cp it can at least sit in gyms for placement on the top half

I keep anything with good IVs and high levels, Niantic hasn't changed the way those work yet. Who knows, a week from now Niantic could change up all the moves.

Simply keep them to secure high spots in gyms.

You keep high IV mons which can be used in gyms because moves can be reworked completely like Water Pulse and Aqua Tail flipped in the last move change...

For all we know, Water Pulse can get boosted to 1 bar and do 150 damage, whatever...(I made that up).

Ideally, keep all high IV movesets since this game changes and it's only "1" spot for a 100% / 98%, etc...
