Is PVP a big deal to you?

It isn't for me. I really won't play it. I mostly play alone while walking, and only know 4 people who I very occasionally will go attack a gym with.
As far as I'm concerned, PVP will be just a bunch of random requests from strangers wanting to 'prove' themselves. I've played enough MMORPG to know that it is just a constant pain. I hope that, when Niantic puts it in game, they have an option for individuals to turn it off and opt out so that requests don't even occur.

Completely agree with you OP. I only do gyms as a means to an end, and would love to ignore PvP. I'm all about the Pokédex, in every game, not just Go.

I don't give a fsck for Pokemon fighting, only do it to get coins from gyms.

Am more worried about the co op playing , what if you are a loner wolf who play alone ? The raid talk and all , I think people who play alone will be left out in the upcoming changes

I would rather have PvP than trading. I hope battles will have stardust or gym coins as a wager

Seconded. PvP might be dominated by cheaters but that wouldn't do as much harm as trading. Also if they made bluetooth connection or something necessary for dueling, spoofers would be left out or at least easier to catch.

I currently don't have any interest in PvP. I do battle gyms and currently hold A LOT of gyms. So I like the battling but I honestly don't care for PvP.

I may do it a bit if it comes out but can't really seem myself doing it a lot.
