PsycoCut Alakazam solo
I wanted to share this in case it may help some of you trainers!
So today I managed to solo PC/SB Alakazam, it was my first time trying to do it and I managed to solo it on the 2nd try.
Here was my team:
lvl 32.5 15/13/12 Sucker Punch/Shadow Ball Gengar
lvl 33.5 15/11/14 Bite/Crunch Tyranitar
lvl 31.5 15/14/14 Sucker Punch/Shadow Ball Gengar
lvl 33.5 15/11/12 Bite/Crunch Tyranitar
lvl 30 11/12/14 PsycoCut/Shadow Ball Mewtwo
lvl 31 11/12/11 Bite/Crunch Tyranitar
Some aspects I considered key:
The positioning: instead of putting the Gengars and Mewtwo in front, I decided to space them with Tyranitars so that when a Gengar or Mewtwo comes in Alakazam's energy is as low as possible.
Dodging: it's crucial that you dodge EVERY Shadow Ball with Gengar and Mewtwo (unless they are very low hp), I timed out on my first try because I didn't get enough Shadow Balls off with my Gengars. Aim to get 3-4 Shadowballs per Gengar.
No dodging with Tyranitar.
Mewtwo himself: I considered Mewtwo to be the key on soloing Alakazam, my lvl 30 11 attack Mewtwo literally did like 35-40% of Alakazam's HP alone. Go Psycocut, it has a higher dps cycle and it's way easier to dodge with.
If you have any more recommendations or things I should have done a different way make sure to say it please!
Thanks and have a nice day.

Very nice, I soloed a Zam recently with the same moveset and very similar team. In fact, same team composition. Differences are on the levels, one of my tyranitars was L25 but I never got to it. My both Gengars have Shadow Claw which helps.
I also like intertwining Gengars with tytar. Dodging shadow ball successfully is key indeed.
Super fun. I'm dreading Confusion + SB though. I've done Confusion+FS with only 2 tyranitars (one below L23) and that was hard af, finished off with L29 Scizor. But I'm pretty confident I can do the other moveset combinations, my team has gotten stronger since.
I love Zam, I wish they kept it in rotation.
