Is Psychic on Blissey really that bad?
I feel that speed is the most important factor for defensive charged moves. Psychic is not a very powerful move but it's SE on Machamps, it's faster than DG and HP...
I agree that DG is better, but I never get hit by a Blissey's Hyper Beam and my Machamps sometimes get hit by Psychic.
Do you think it's really that bad?

Personally, I rank them Z/Dg then Z/P - on defence.
Mostly because of the reasons you list...it is harder to dodge, and more now than ever, people use Machamp against Blissey. With double psychic moves Blissey will rip serious damage on Machamp.
However, if someone uses Exegguttor against it, then it has a very easy ride.
With Machamp as a raid boss now, more are using it, so it makes Z/P Blissey a viable defender.
CAVEAT ...if you want good defenders.
No, psychic isn't really that bad. Blissey is the best defender no matter what charge move it has. A psychic blissey is better than a body slam snorlax defending.
However it is the worst charge move. While your right it's nice when charge moves are quick because they land more often, I don't think it's true in blisseys case. A move like hyper beam is good not because of the damage but because of how much time is spent trying to dodge which makes the likelihood of timing out higher.
DG is defanitly the best because it's 2 bar which means there's a good amount of time spent dodging instead of attacking and the damage is good. HB is the 2nd best because the attacker wastes so much time dodging.
While you're being correct on the time out statement, I think it's less of a factor after the CP decay update. A trainer won't often face a Blissey with full CP anymore due to the update. Therefore, making it more easy to kill a Blissey. Rationally, people should become less motivated to power up Blisseys to such high levels that players could actually still time out.
Also the fact that people have access to one or multiple Machamps thanks to the raid bosses makes it less likely that people will time out.
tl;dr Time-out factor has become less significant after the CP-decay update, making Physic more valuable than HB in my opinion
