I was actually thinking it would be a 100-200 coin box with a limit of 1 purchase. almost every single player would purchase that. It is more of a fan appreciation than anything, should really be a practical giveaway.

Agreed. There's 1100 coins worth of stuff in it I would buy between the raid passes and incubators. I'll save the 100 coins and buy them individually. They add a FTM and a CTM to this then they will make some $$$.

Better value is buying 6 incubators + 3 raid passes for 1200 coins. Yes that is regular price but it is a better deal.

I refuse to spend coins on items you get for FREE when spinning stops.

And before the rural player complains because they don't have enough stops etc... well that is your choice to play this game. You know what you are getting into.

If I lived in a rural place like when I go visit my parents I sure wouldn't play this game and invest time and money in it.

This is a joke of a sale. Niantic, Don't count on me, or a whole lot of others, getting one.

I really like the suggestion of an appreciation box where you get 1 charge TM and 1 quick TM for a good/near free price and limit 1 per account...

At least that 1 thing would be decent this anniversary event...(like free 1 use incubators)...

Even though I think there will be more stuff coming, this start of their actual anniversary is a really big fail...

And as I mentioned before, there is little/no reason to play "more" than I normally do since I'd assume most people aren't touching this Anniversary box and the high level raids aren't popping up for me neither...(so free pass is enough).

Present? Which present? I can't see any present in the box. Those balls and revives come from stops every day for free.

I seriously question the competence of the guys who came up with this "special offer." It's insulting to anyone who's actually played the game. Did anyone at any time stand up and say, "You know, I don't think saving 80 coins and getting 20 balls you can get for free are is going to make many people happy..."

They have to realize hardly anyone buys max revives anyway... man, this was a let down...
