Pre-berried pokemon?
This is the 3rd time that I've encountered this one today: a berry on the pokemon at the start of the encounter. I did not throw the gold raz, and I was still able to throw another berry. I was thinking that if I caught it I might get a golden raz, but I didn't. It's also not a matter of them already having the berry applied, as I caught a zigzagoon earlier today showing a pinap berry and only got 3 candy despite catching with the first ball. And let me repeat: I did not accidentally throw this berry. Since seeing the first one I've been very careful at the start of the encounter and have watched catefully.
Any thoughts?

The berry bug ‘remembers’ what ever you used on the previous encounter by the looks. So, pinap’d a Pidgey, then encounter a Ratatta, the Ratatta will look as if it’s been pinap’d. It doesn’t count toward the ‘berry X amount of Pokémon’ task, or will it give you the effects, but you can still use a different berry though to override it.
