Powering up Scyther

hi guys, I just got a scyther with 91% IV and 11/15/15 stats set from the 10 km egg. but its cp is only at 523. since I got 24 candies from hatching it, should I power it up all the way or do u guys think that scyther is easy to find and I should wait for a better one? almost forgot, it's got bug buzz.

I think you should save your stardusts, not for a better scyter, but for a better pokemon... scyter is not a top pokemon....

You should never spend any stardust until you hit level 20. Even after that it's not optimal until you get to level 30, but most people don't have the patience to wait so long. But you definitely shouldn't spend your stardust yet, at the very least wait until you're level 20 and you will start hatching level 20 Pokémon from eggs, they will be a lot stronger.

aha okay, I will keep the stardust for now then. I just hope I could get far better pokemons on the way to level 20s, level 30 is still far far away for me ahaha

I only started using some stardust at level 27 when i hatched a 1700 snorlax, caught a baby dragonite. (48cp) and evolved gyrados.

spend all of your stardust in this scyther. if your scyther candies end up, then farm more scyther and proceed to spend even more dust and candies on your 91% scyther. that's the best advice you'll get here. now, come on! get that thing in a sky high cp range!!!!
