Powering Blissey above 3k CP?!

As the updated Gym Defender Tier List states that Blissey is not affected by increased motivation loss above 3k CP if placed as a Gym Defender... so is it actually worth powering Blissey above 3000 CP?!

I think what it means is that Blissey is still a top defender even while losing cp. As far as I know, the 3000 cp motivation loss still affects Blissey. I would not power her up past 3000 cp.

I already had Blissey's over 3000+ CP, but I would not power up ANY defenders in the current meta unless you are simply swimming in tons of dust...Candy's are less of an issue IMO for defenders since raid bosses drop them (Snorlax, Lapras, etc...).

It's sorta pointless now to power up and if you are limited in dust (like most people), then save it for your raid attackers instead...

Mine are near 3100 CP and I plan to just leave them as is...

I'll probably take my Vaporeon over 3000CP though since I use it to attack.

Where does it say that?
If it does...it is wrong.

What they are saying is that she is still top tier...even though she is affected.

At 2999 and below...nothing is a better defender than Blissey

Hmm that doesnt make sense. I always thought that all Pokémon >3000 CP will be hiddenly downgraded to 3000 CP anyways if defending a Gym?! Even if it shows > 3000 CP while defending it acts like a 3000 CP version of itself?!

edit:
Is unphased by the CP >3000 limitation on gyms

What doesn't make sense?

A mon over 3k acts like a mon over 3k, as long as it is fed a berry immediately upon placing it, then it will be at it's full potential.
However, it will only last 10 minutes and then it will start losing CP by 10% for every 10 minutes it is in a gym.

A mon over 3k will be a solid defender...but only a short time.
A mon of 2999CP or less will drop it's potential much slower than a mon over 3k

Ok so what on earth does "Is unphased by the CP >3000 limitation on gyms" mean???

Ah!
I took it to mean that even though there is now a CP limitation, her position on the top of the defender tier list is unchanged/unphased. She still holds top spot on the tier list.

It is a comparison to the other defenders that used to be top.
With the changes to the CP limitation, and the change to 'super effective' damage, and even STAB, this meant mons like Nite, Rex Rhydon etc fall down the list...but Blissey is unphased by it all.

Users downvote just to do it and without showing whose doing it the voting process just get out of hand.

I realise that...but for a while I have had a serial downvoter that will downvote every one of my comments no matter the content.
I find it quite touching to be honest, that I have made such an impact on someone.

What will happen if a mon above 3k CP drops to below 3k CP due to CP decay? Will the CP reduction after every defeat be the same as for above 3k, or below 3k?

Even when the CP falls below 3k the decay rate stays at 10%, rather than 1% as it is for mons below 3k cp.

To remove a 3k+ from the gym will take just as many 'kills' as it does to remove a mon of CP less than 3k

Is it 10% loss per 10 minutes or 1 hour? Man 10 minutes seems way overkill geez
