power up Milotic??

It is optional. At lower CP (1600-1700) it stays motivated longer in gyms. At higher CP it will last a bit longer initially, and can be used as attacker, in case it has a Water moveset.

I would max it if it was 100%, 98%, or maybe even 96%. Not the most practical of max outs, but it is a good trophy. However, I will not dump RC into it. Only do it with the feebas candy obtained from what you catch.

Otherwise just go for some high level weather boosted feebas with something like 180+CP.

I have a 96% 15a/13d/15s from a lucky hatch that I had initially planned to max. But now I can’t seem to justify the resources, especially with the advent of Kyogre. As an aside, I really wish Niantic had given us the time to collect, power up, and play with the regular gen 3 mon before jumping right in to the legendaries. It really took the spotlight away from the ones I was excited about like Milotic.

I have a lvl 35 100% and an 98% lvl 26. Not going to bother with powering them up, even if they were lower lvl.

If resources weren’t a question, yes. Milotic is a decent non-normal defender with the right moveset, and gets fed in high traffic areas. But those candies are so rare and it’s purpose so narrow that I can’t justify doing so as a priority. I have a 100 at lvl 15 that I just finished walking and will be evolving soon, but my desire to invest resources is blunted by needs elsewhere. Will someday, but tops i’ll take her to lvl 20 now.

I ended up evolving my 55% feebas that I caught at L35. I figured that I wasn’t going to use any dust, so I wanted the strongest one I could find without powering up.

I have a 96pct waterfall/surf 2892cp level 38.5 that is my buddy...taking it to level 40, but ran out of dust right now. I'm curious how it will fight as opposed to my vaporeon. It's not a waste of dust unless one thinks its a waste.
