Power up ice type?? Yes or no??
We know ice type is best against Dragon&Flying, but then Dragonite and Rayquaza can get the job done better. =(
Recently I caught a 100% Regice and a 98% 15att/15def/14sta shiny Articuno. I've started powering up Regice with candies I got from raids, now at level 27. Then today, I caught that shiny articuno. Should I power up articuno and stop that Regice project??
For ice type, I've only powered up an 89% Lapras 14att until lvl35 and that 100% regice until lvl27, and nothing else.
What do you think?

Yep, Mamoswine and Glaceon might be better, and then as a dragon counter, there's Dialga, which should hit about as hard as Salamance and is only weak to Ground and Fighting.
Regice would be great in gyms, except that you can't put it there (...yet? How about it, Niantic - one legendary in a gym, in the last spot, and only placed by the person who took the gym.)
Regice isnt worth investment. That Articuno is fantastic. It will suit you fine for now, however it is niche, and it will likely (not guaranteed, but likely) be overthrown in that niche in Gen 4 (with Mamoswine, or Glaceon).
If you want an Ice Type, it's great, work on it. If you're fine without, no worries you aren't missing out on much.
