Power up to 40???
In several Q&A topics, people consider level 40 Pokemon, either to ask for quick move damage breakpoints, solo/duoing certain raid bosses etc.
I heard rumors that it is possible to power up Pokemon past level 39 and I wonder how.
Since I am lvl 39 myself, I powered up my best Pokemon to 39.
How is it possible to power up beyond this point? Apparently with lvl 39 you could power up to 39.5 and with 40 to 40. How does it work?
Simultanously powering up on various devices???
And do I have a chance to power up my best Pokemons even though their Powerup button dissappeared?

Word to the wise, niantic can perform a check for this on their side REALLY easily. Do this at your own risk. This breaks tos, so if they want to ban everyone they see that has L40 pokemon data coming back, they will.
The only way to get rid of a L40 poke is transfer, so, if they start banning people you'll have to choose. Loose your account or lose those exploit pokemon. Good luck.
This isn't a clear violation of the TOS based on my reading of the language. There is some broad language about exploiting vulnerabilities, etc., but that seems to be focused on accessing protected content or hacking. Still, the reward seems minimal given the potential risk (even if it is remote).
Also, I'm proud of the fact that I have never used a spoofer, bot, or even a tracker, and I don't want to risk the integrity of my account. I opted to not do this trick, and I also saved a lot of stardust in the process.
