Pound vs Charge Beam on Clefable

I am trying to figure out why Pound is "A" and Charge Beam "B"

When I click on moves on Clefable, the only thing I can think of is there is an error on the page

As I can't figure out why Pound and Charge Beam list different move DPS but same True DPS.

Neither gets Stab.

Pokebattler seems to do better with Charge Beam / Zen vs Dragonite than Pound

Pound is faster than Charge Beam and has decent energy gain. Higher dps. Clefable's favorable matchups don't take SE damage from electric so it's essentially a waste. I've used both and Charge Beam on Clefable is pretty bad imo

They don't take SE damage from Pound (a Normal type attack) either, and OP's question relates to a direct comparison of Charge Beam and Pound.

My point was that Charge Beam is inferior to Pound and doesn't have SE as an advantage to compensate

I have used charge beam on Ampharos, Magneton, Lanturn, AND Clefable...and I hate it on all of them. It's too slow to dodge effectively with, and doesn't deal the damage that volt switch does. It's an okay skill if you don't even intend to dodge, such as Lanturn vs Vaporeon, but Ampharos perform significantly worse against Gyarados with that skill than any Jolteon does.

This is one of those cases where numbers and simulations aren't everything. Pound is a quick move that is easy to battle with.

In my opinion, 3 of them performed quite similar to me. Zen Headbutt wasn't as bad as I thought. Charge Beam generated energy really fast. Pound also worked well and was easier to dodge with.
