Potential Exploitable Issue with Motivation
So given the new motivation gym system, I feel there is an obvious exploitable issue for botters/multiple account spoofers. In theory, botters would be able to constantly feed berries and lock down a gym for as long as the want (likely the maximum time for rewards). With 10s of accounts feeding berries and farming Pokestops this seems like it would be pretty easy for them.
A simple fix would be a maximum number of berries fed per gym/pokemon/day.
Overall I like the new system and am excited to see how things play out!

They should just make something like this:
X are the minutes defended.
Y are the cents curved by minutes defended, A PokéCents equals B PokéCoins.
Y=X^2=A
Let's say if A=1200, B=1.
You can earn 1 PokéCoin in 34.641 minutes, then another one in 14.349 minutes, and another one in 11.010 minutes, but they have to be continuous.
If you shave your Pokémon every 15 minutes, you can still get the cents changed into PokéCoins, but only one will be gotten after 83.660 minutes (at minimum, not counting shaving time) in the first cycle. That won't be worth it.
There hasn't been an answer to that question yet.
What happens if a mon is either kicked from a gym in battle or leaves due to not being fed? Does that slot become available for anyone on that team to take? Does that slot go away? There is no prestige, so you can't 'build' the gym back up in order to claim that slot.
I've asked this in a few different threads here, and noone has come up with an answer.
I worry about a bigger exploitable aspect with these proposed "gym raids". It has been said you need a "raid ticket" to participate (which you get through spinning?) and only a certain amount of slots exist (20?) to participate in said raid (and be able to catch a strong pokemon afterwards). Will the spoofers be able to instantly lock up all the slots for these raids when the timer to start hits zero while legitimate players standing out on the street near the gym are left hanging?
It appears that multiple teams can fight the raid boss simultaneously. The boss stays there for an hour, so anyone who shows up can get on a team. Also, there are private and public teams, so if you show up with a group of friends, you can make your team private.
Plus, with the new announcement from NianticGeorge, it seems like they are taking action against spoofers!!!!!!
