Possible charge TM and power-up bugs
I downloaded the latest update this afternoon from Google Play.
Possible bug number 1. I lost 6 charge TMs with just 2 attempted changes. I don't have many charge TMs so I'm careful about how and when I use them. This was not a case of me pressing too many buttons at the wrong time.
Possible bug number 2: I tried to power up a Rayquaza. Pressed the button once, nothing happened. Pressed it again and I'd suddenly gone up 2 and a half levels and spent 32 candy and about 30k dust. I don't mind losing the dust, as I have plenty, but I had other plans for some of the candy.
Has anyone else seen this?

That TM problem has been reported before when using items through a pokemon's page while having poor internet connection. Niantic support will deny that it is possible though, and can not or will not do anything about it. In the future, just try to use TMs from your items bag while you have a stable internet connection.
@pipjay - internet connection could well have been the issue last night. There was four of us on a not very good wi-fi signal at the same time. Unfortunately I'm not sure how a single key press powers up five times ☹
@hkn - I'll probably report it, but I won't expect a reply. I'm not planning on spending any money on the game in the near future. My total so far is about £15 in two years
