So finally got a upgrade to evolve my porygon from my 7 day streak, my question is though since porygon seems to be easier to obtain now should I wait to get one with good iv's or evolve one now? I have two already from the valentines event but there iv's are below 80%
Wait. He evolves to PorygonZ in the future. It's unknown the candy cost of that. No matter what moveset he gets if he has good IVs you get a second shot then.
If you want to just evolve one to check that Dax entry that is up to you. But it's not like he has a real use right now either. I would be very picky after that evo.
I'll probably just wait then until I get a better one rather save the candys for one that's actually good instead of wasteing the candy on one just for entry purposes especially if porygon z is gonna be as good as people make him out to be. Never really got to far into gens I know most of gen 1 and gen 2 and like a quarter of gen 3 but after that idk any of the Pokémon lol
Depends on whether you are in a hurry to get the pokemon entry or not, and whether you need to clear the item space really bad or not. Currently Porygon 2 has no gym battling application (that cannot be fulfilled by a different pokemon more efficiently), so if you are not in a hurry, you might as well wait until you get one you are 100% convinced you want to evolve him (Good IV's basically), there's plenty of time until Porygon-Z comes in gen 4
