Poll: 100 IVs vs 98 IVs
What's your ratio? I have 3 with 100 IVs and 32 at 98 IVs. That seems like an odd distribution to me.

I just got my 9th 100% today (from a Magmar raid I fought just to use the free pass), but I have no idea how many 98% pokemon I've gotten. I always appraise everything, but if it's not perfect or a type I care about, that's all the attention it gets. I hardly ever bother trying to figure out what the 3rd stat is on junk pokemon with two max stats, so I've probably transferred lots of them, and I don't know how many I still have right now.
I have 10 100s and 18 98s, but i'm sure i threw out a bunch of silly 98s (maybe even a 100 parasect as I thought i had two), i think i kept all my 100s. i know i got rid of a 98 dugtrio, a 98 stantler and a 98 dodrio, so
i guess at least 21...but i do throw away anything below level 20 also without even bothering to look -- i mean do people actually appraise every single mon?
13 - 100% (Tyranitar, Flareon, Gengar, Raichu, Clefable, Poliwrath, Golem, Hitmonchan, Noctowl, Macargo, Octillery, Kingdra, Donphan
23 - 98% (Dragonite, Gyarados, Blastoise, Venasaur Charizard, Ninetales, Rapidash, Rhydon(2), Electabuzz, Magneton, Magmar, Lapras, Typhlosion, Sudowoodo, Misdreavus,Gligar, Ursaring, Macargo, Mantine, Porygon2, Tyrogue, Miltank
I could have missed some.
I hatch a lot of eggs.
28 100% and 43 98%, so my ratio is 1:1.5 or 2:3. To be fair, a 1:3 distribution makes much more sense since more combinations can lead to the 98% distribution, but it all comes down to RNG. You also have to take into account that some of us used to through away 98% mons that didn't have ideal movesets back when TMs weren't available, while 100% mons were too painful to through away...
