Poketurd in the punchbowl
While the whole community is excited and giddy about what everyone expects to be the startup of Gen 2, I cannot get rid of the feeling that some nasty surprise is waiting for us. Like a pay-to-play scheme for Gen 2 - impossible high breakout rate, which can be reduced only by a new kind of berry or ball available only in the shop. Less bad, but more probable: New regional exclusives - South America and Africa at least, but maybe a second helping for everyone else, too. There are certainly other options, too?

Yes I am a bit worried too but not to that point, don't think gen2 will be pay to play, not even close, but yes, there will be new store items for sure, new balls, new cosmetics (dress your avatar and your mons) and probably something like a 2nd life incubator for a crazy price (5k coins?).
And I am also pretty convinced there will be new regions exclusives for all regions, included Africa and South America (not the crazy theory about an Antartida one jaja :D ).
For me there won't be anyway to get those mons unless they make a trading feature worldwide, so there will be probably 4 or 5 more mons you can't get inside your region, but we also don't have legendaries either so I am not too worried about that at this moment.
It would have to be 10K-15K coins to make sense. I hatch about 1 egg/day/incubator. Each day I uses a purchased incubator, therefore, costs 50 coins (per incubator). 50x365 = 18,250. Not many would pay more than that (they'd be better off using the 3 hit ones). Niantic wouldn't want to short change themselves by pricing them too low either.
That said, all this seems to go against the business model, which is built on the idea that a sheep can be sheared many times but only skinned once.
