Pokemon you want as Raid Bosses but don't expect to ever see

1) Dragonite.

I'd love to see a Dragonite Raid Boss. I've got 4 Dragonites, walked and walked and walked Dratini's to get the candies (because I only recently started using free Scanners, and where I live there seems to be no regular Dratini spawns within reasonable travel and parking distance) to evolve and power 2 of them up to level 35. But dammit. I still want to go in on a Dragonite Raid.

I don't expect to see Dragonite as a Raid Boss because I think that Niantic has decided Dragonite is a Prestige Pokémon. ie: if you have it, you have to have earned it. You have to have walked a LOT, hatched a lot of eggs and gotten quite lucky in finding good spawns. I think that Ampharos is like that as well.

2) Regional Exclusives

Like Dragonite and Ampharos, I think they've decided that Regional Exclusives are Prestige Pokémon. You HAVE to have gone to the other regions to get them. But I'd love to be able to do a raid for a Heracross, for example, or a Corsola.

This is me being selfish but Feraligator. It's the only starter I don't have a really good one of. Since it's clear here nearly all the time the grasses and fire types were easy to come by.

I lucked out and caught a decent mudkip when I was out of state for the Holidays. I hatched a 96% Blastoise a loooong time ago. So raids would be the easiest way for me to get a good Feraligator to add to the bunch.

croconaw was a tier1 raid boss before change, that's how I got my candies for feraligatr

I have plenty of candies since I haven't had a good one to evolve. Got two in the 70s, but wanting a really good one.

More Gen 2 raid bosses, especially Mareep, Houndour and the starters.

I have never seen a wild Militank (my only one was hatched). Are they rare for others too?

The most unrealistic would be Unown.

You just named my top 2. Would love to raid Mareep and Houndour. Or maybe make it Flaffy and Houndoom.

Houndoom would be a fun T3 to solo. Gyarados, I choose you! Machamps, fall in!

One word. Blissey.

I wonder how they could pull off a Blissey - Raid bosses of a level all have the same HP, so the main advantage of a Blissey (insanely high HP) would be negated.

Maybe they could make it a Level 2 raid boss with Level 3 HP?

All T4 bosses become T3 even for a short while. I like to do soloing but the current T3's except Alakazams are getting too easy.

That... would probably be an AWESOME Community Day type event. Couple it with something like 3 Free Raid Passes (one per hour) of the Event, and have every gym spawning T4 Bosses at T3 levels?

I'm sure that many players would spend money on Premium Raid Passes to be able to do like 5+ Tyranitar raids. (or Golem; I'd love to get enough people to do a Golem raid. My local area doesn't give a bleeping bleep about any Level 4 raid but Tyranitar and MAYBE Aggron these days, so getting someone out for a Golem raid doesn't happen often) and some would try to do as many as they can. It's not out of the question to be able to do a Level 3 raid in 6min total - 2 min to get into the raid, 2 min to take down the Pokémon, 2 min to catch the Pokémon. (it's really fast to catch them, yes, but not unrealistically fast.) Could do 10 raids in an hour, 30 raids over the event, and even if you knocked that down to 15 raids you're still looking at needing to purchase 10-11 Premium Raid Passes to do it.

Depending on how hard it would be to program it, this could be a win-win.

Great idea ! As mentioned, I like to do solos and always purchase frantically whenever premium passes come on sale. Currently sitting at 80 passes lol !

The Nidos should have been T3 or T2 from the start. As T4s almost no one does them, and the people who do want them but don't have a team can't get them. I want them and I want to solo them, so your idea would be nice.

Jokes aside, I'd want T3 raids of Kabutops, Aerodactyl, Espeon & Umbreon, Piloswine (some were lucky enough to get that), Lombre, Breloom, Vibrava, Metagross or Metang, and Tropius.

Have Shedinja as joke T1 to keep Magikarp company.

You just want those as tier 3, but not to solo, right? Because Umbreon's 250 defense stat and Metagross' 247 defense stat would make them impossible to solo. Kabutops has very high defense also, but his double weakness to grass would make it soloable and easier than Omastar.

Umbreon just to see how i'd do vs it, and others would duo it most likely if they want it (but almost no one wants it). Though maybe T2 would make it soloable.
Metang might be soloable, but some might duo for Metagross.

Region exclusive pokemon should be region exclusive T1 and T2 raids within their regions. (Not the more widespread migratory exclusives Zangoose, Seviper, Lunatone, and Solrock.) This would make it easier when traveling to find the region exclusive pokemon, and get it with 10-15 range IVs. If you don't have enough other players traveling with you to fight the current T5 raid and don't know the local raid groups, it would provide a special raid to look for that you could solo.

"Plusle and Minun" should be a special double raid boss with their stats boosted and added together. When you win the fight, you would randomly get only one of the pair on the catch screen. Maybe make it 2:1 or 3:1 odds in favor of finding the local region exclusive of the pair so you might have to fight "Plusle and Minun" double raids several times before you get the one not locally available.

Unown should be a rare T1 raid, maybe once a week within a large city. Either with a randomly selected letter that is fixed for all trainers and visible before you start the raid, or after the battle for each player it changes to a randomly selected letter on the catch screen.

Considering how much trouble some foreigners had in my city last fall trying to find Tauros (they did manage to find one each, after hooking up with someone who had an illegal scanner), I could get behind them being Regional Raid Bosses.

I like the Plusle and Minun idea - that could be lots of fun. The Unown I'd prefer to see as a regular T1 raid but where you get the letter you battle rather than it being random at the end. That could be very aggravating after a while, to see a raid for an A and yet here you are getting your 5th P. Still, having Unown as a raid boss is better than not having it as a raid boss.

Corsola raids at gyms in my neighbourhood? No thanks. Put them at gyms in or near Changi Airport. (Depending on the raid-generating algorithm, that could still mean fewer Machamp and Tyranitar raids.)

As for Unown, I would prefer to get the letter that I battle.

These are all as tier 3 bosses because no one wants to do tier 4 where I am and I love soloing anyway:

Gardevoir (though her massive defense stat would make her impossible to solo, especially since she has no double weaknesses)
Slaking (it would be so much fun to pound it furiously while trying to avoid a Play Rough hit!)
Kingra (also impossible to solo due to high defense stat and lack of double weaknesses, though)
