Pokemon Event Sold Out

Well in under an hour of posting. The Chicago event is sold out. I live in Chicago and went to the 1st un-official one and it was nice. Whose all planning or was planning on going?

How much were the tickets selling for?

$20 plus $6.15 fee. However, looks like they'll have ticket on the day of and the day prior. But if like every other event where there's too many people in one location then cell tower will be crowed and hard to play.

Tickets were going for $20.00 each then a $6.00 service Charge then a $5.00 mail charge with also an option of a guarantee, that in some event you can not go you get a full refund.I was planning on going, sold out in 28mins. My biggest problem is outside of those fees it is still an extra $800.00 to actually enjoy it(2 Nights at a hotel, and plane tickets.) I will hope for more towards my area.

I bought a ticket since I live 2 hours away. Not entirely sure I will be going yet but I figured I should get one right away because it would probably sell out. Didn't think it would sell out that fast though. Also the host hotels apparently sold out fairly quickly too.

Wow didn't know that much people would travel for the event
