PoGo crashing and freezing all the time?

There are all sort of freezes. When you open the game, when you tap on a pokemon, when you open your buddy screen, often when you try to fight a gym...
The fact that these guys are making millions baffles me. It's thanks to me too but at least I don't pay them directly through the store.

Yes, it freezes many times a day recently, especially when I click on my player profile...

Mine has been working flawlessly. I have a Droid Moto Z. My friend has a less powerful phone and is experiencing everything you mentioned. Seems to happen more often has he accesses menus, pokedex, etc. Sometimes if we are walking and we click on a mon to catch he'll have to restart his game.

So I'm wondering what kind of phone are you using? I have heard that the last update is less strain on RAM, but heavier drain on CPU. Don't know any of this for fact, but it would explain my friend's issues. (His pokemon go issues anyway ;)

It is impossible to play with that all stuff... I stop playing and wait for changes

Guess you're not often here as I wrote about it just after the update was out there. It just hangs sometimes without me doing anything. They said some memory use had been corrected and obviously they went a wrong way.

Only thing I've noticed in the past week is that if you leave the game on and unattended (I sometimes keep in on while charging at home), the app shuts itself off. I figured this was Niantic trying to stop people from "walking" due to GPS drift while keeping the game on overnight.

Yes, i have started crashing in gyms and been getting white screen of death upon startup since the last update.
