Pinsir invasion?

Pinsir are running amok near my home in Bangkok. Is this happening everywhere? I know November will focus on Bug research but there are SO many Pinsirs it looks more like I woke up in a Pinsir nest (I do live next to a University so maybe) or else this is a Pinsir mini-event. Not complaining, wish it would rain for weather boost but normally wet Bangkok is having a week of sunshine.

It's the newest Mon with a shiny variant that's rolling out over the weekend globally as part of the Safari Zone event in Taiwan. Just like Roselia, Plusle/Minun, and Wingull for the summer events.

There have been Pinsirs showing up like crazy over here in Eastern U.S. too!!
