Pinsir fight moves

Why is submission worse than Close combat? Same DPS and submission is 2 stab move.

Good question. Maybe because of cast time?

Close Combat has a very short animation and actually has greater dps than a single Submission. Submission is mostly defensive

Yes the lower CD on CC makes it very good.

Pinser is a joke. Let's not quibble about two bad movesets on a bad pokemon.

So that's like being the best poison pokemon in the game, right? Except that Muk is actually usable in a number of situations. The only time I use a bug pokemon is against Exeggutor, in which case I still use Butterfree. Time and time again I try Scyther and Pinsir and keep coming back to bb/bb Butterfree...and we aren't even talking about Pinsir's bug moves here...
