Pinaping Entei today after 3 ET = 12 Entei candies?

No, he/she said after 3 ET which is when the event starts in their time zone instead of just saying when the event starts.

It will be 9 I guess. That's how they did it last time - event doubles candies for catching only

Last time I was getting 12 candies for Pidgies. I would Pinap, catch and evolve right away because I had the candies to do it. I didn't run into any 2nd or 3rd level Pokémon to check them.

or you could get yourself a whole lotta Tyranitar candy.

Just caught a Cubone and Pinap'd it, and got 12 candies. I'd imagine that the Legendaries will be the same.

I just beat an Gegar in a raid. On the first ball I used a pinap and got 40 candy! FORTY!
