Phone overheat!

Same here. But It's always generating a lot of Heat Wave. I'm afraid my phone will Discharge.

1. Already was...have not noticed any increase
2. Not at all, the previous update did increase battery drain for me but the very latest appears to be a slight improvement for me.
3. YES....serious nasty lag and timeouts etc. So frustrating.

Experiencing this prior to update myself. Won't know till Sunday night when I play. Sorry.

my phone never over heated from pokemon but yesterday was first time.........i was like "what the heck?"

Mine is, but that is normal for me. I've already blown through two iphone batteries playing this game.

In Canada, we call this a feature. Snow melt right off your screen, and you can use your phone as a hand warmer when the temperature dip too low. In the summer, we use our phone/pokemongo to cook eggs while camping. Never saw such bad coding in my life. Seriously, I'm hoping the new programmers they are hiring, will be able to fix that up. It should be a top priority at Niantic. They want us to go out, yet, we need to carry an external battery the size of a car battery so we can play more than 2 hours....
