Performance VS Kyogre: Venusaur VS Exeggutor

The key is which can survive to release two solar beams. I think bullet seed Eggy is better, it can build up energy fast before Kyogre release its first charge move. It can probably gives out the second solar beam after taking the damage and build up energy with two or three bullet seeds.

With neutral weather, B/So and C/So are really close, with the better move dependent on breakpoints. Bullet Seed only pulls significantly ahead when boosted with sunny weather.

Seed Bomb is also not too far behind Solar Beam, but can be spammed more easily. This month I evolved two good high level Exeggcutes. Got E/Se and B/P. One fast TM and one charge TM later, I have two B/Se Exeggutors added to my grass team. Nicely rounds out my 2x C/So Exeggutors and V/S Venusaur.

In the lower thirties, C Exegguttor and Venusaur perform pretty similar. However, Exegguttor pulls ahead at high levels. My maxed out Exegguttor has 1009 s to win against Kyogre, while the next best counter is another Exegguttor at level 35,5. That one has Bullet Seed and will go below 1000s at level 40.

My guess is, Exegguttor hits a bulk point there, so at max, it is always a lot better. Venusaur cannot hit that breakpoint.

A maxed Exeggutor is nearly as good as Zapdos. Exeggutor is an excellent counter and Venasaur is a good counter and should be probably be relegated to your second team.

tbh I always prefer Venusaur and Sceptile over Exeggutor for non-solo raids, around lv30 damage difference is almost negligable, It almost never get you an extra ball. Vine Whip Venusaur can dodge swiftly even with dodge bug she survives taking hits. Sceptile in first slot also spams leaf blades relentlessly.

In the end it doesn't worth to lose your legacy move on exeggutor.
