Of course. You can't do anything with a 619CP Magnemite. And you'll want it to be a Magnezone eventually.

I was about to say that if you already have another magneton with a good moveset, just wait until gen 4 so it has its evo cost halved like they did with horsea and zubat, but at 500, candies are no problem for you :)

I just evolved one horsea and one zubat for the pokédex in gen one hoping for a reduced cost in gen 2. Now doing the same for swinubs.

Everyone's talking about Magnezone, but when the evolution comes Magnemite's evolution cost will be reduced just like Golbat's. Not that the candies were hard to obtain. Evolve now only if you need a prestiger.

evolve it and if it gets a bad set it doesnt madder because when gen 4 comes out 100% magnazone will be amazing.

Hmm, you should wait until the gym rework before investing anything. It could change your mind about what you want to do.
