Perfect Blissey with the worst moveset...

So I got really lucky and hatched a perfect Chansey awhile back. I evolved it and it has Zen headbutt and Psychic as a moveset and I'm wondering how that goes compared to other movesets. It's the worst possible moveset it could have (according to this site) so I'm wondering how big a deal it is. Have I missed a big opportunity?

This moveset is underrated on defending. Although Psychic is the worst charge move on paper, it is difficult to dodge. Many people said DG is the best defensive move and can counter Dragonite, Machamp and Tyranitar, but DG is quite easy to dodge.

Think about it

What is the biggest danger to Blissey? Fighting types.
What are fighting types weak against? psychic attacks

I say Blissey will do just fine

The biggest danger to Blissey is a DT/OR Dragonite. I have 2 of them, and they are so much better than Machamp or T-tar. The only thing that will slow a DT/OR Dragonite is the DG, which hurts him even with dodging.

I am glad you have something that works for you, and that is what is important...but no, that is not the best thing into Blissey, not by a long way.

Psychic move comes really fast. It's harder to dodge than the rest. You have to be ready and waiting for it in order to dodge successfully

Better than my pound/psychic

P+P is a better defensive combo than ZH+P. Attacking Machamp dodge all ZH attacks, making Psychic easy to dodge. Attacking Machamp do not dodge Pound, making Psychic very difficult to dodge resulting in a probable KO. This is why GP ranks P+P slightly ahead of ZH+P.

In fact, I'd rather my defending Blissey have P+P (ranked D) instead of P+HB (ranked B). I rolled a P+HB Blissey and I use it exclusively for attacking where it's much more useful.

This is true in theory, but in practice, most people do not dodge quick attacks. And if they do, they'll use a lot of time on a Blissey - a valuable resource in this game.

2nd best defending moveset so power him up.

IMO, the most important weapon of Blissey is her HP hence you can power her up without caring of her movesets.

Actually its the remarkable damage she puts out despite having terrible attack ratings on bulbapedia ;)

Pokemon Go made her something useful.

Put her in a gym and train against her, then you will know how bad she is :D

A Blissey with the worst moveset is still twice as good as a Snorlax with the best moveset. Even Exeggutor with Conf/Solar would have difficulty beating your Blissey in time.

I agree. I never use Blissey as an attacker because she is just too slow. If I had a perfect one, I'd focus all my candies and dust on her.

Any Blissey is a good Blissey once it is powered up.
