For people who have caught +96% legendaries when do you stop?
For those lucky ones who have captured any of the legendaries with +96% movesets, at what point do you stop and power up what you have? I see people continue to say wait a month for those with 98% etc I understand that logic but considering your chance of 100% is what less than 1% is it really the best move to keep raiding? Do you only use your free for 1 per day or keep grinding like a maniac for the elusive 100% knowing your odds or so small?

Through all the legendaries, I was waiting for Raikou. First raid, first catch, 93% 1899 with 15 attack and TS/WC. I maxed it out on the spot. I'm not killing myself for fractions of fractions.
That said, I'll still raid them for the candy and raid rewards. If I get a better one, so be it. The functional difference will be miniscule.
I got two 96% Moltres a 96% Zapdos a 96% Lugia. I kept on doing Moltres and Zapdos b/c they weren't labor intensive (9 double rock Golems). I quit Lugia when I got 15a/96%---a lot of energy organizing and low catch rate 4/15. I'm 3/10 on Raikou (1884 87% best). When I get a 93% plus I'll still do the free pass, but not be the lead chatter/organizer. I'll only use a premium pass if the first group is leap frogging to a near one
The issue is do you max your 93% and stop or if you continue and catch 100% next day your kicking yourself. That's really the main issue, the more I think I feel it's better to just max it and stop to not have that feeling of regret, on the other hand the xp with eggs is amazing. I've gone up 500k in 2 days with just raids and 1 evolution spree which is stupid.
I have 78 Zapdos candy, I've put no dust toward Zapdos. No time near am I going to put anything to Raikou, still I am frustrated because 3/10-- most times it immediately jumps out, not even the suspense of a rock or two***Almost have my Lugia to 3000, have Moltres at 2510 my only powered up legendaries. All my other recent dust tied up in a full squad of Tyranitars
Depends on how you look at it. Some people once they get a good iv regardless if it's 100% will still do legendary raids just for xp purposes and reward purposes since you can easily get 10-20k xp per legendary raids and you have a better chance getting more rare candy, golden razz and TMs.
Then there's also just having random dumb luck like for example when moltres was out 2nd moltres I got was 96% I did acouple more then stopped. Then about a week or 2 ago I was just with a group of people decided to do a moltres raid real quick and ended up with another 96% only did 16 moltres raids within that time and caught 11 so in the end it's just rng. I don't even wanna get into the dumb luck I got blessed with zapdos.
My first Moltres was 96% and I was happy enough. But you need the candy to power it up. So, once I get a good one, keep doing raids for the candy.
I use my free pass or premier pass if I have the time to play and find a group. But I played just a few raids compared to most people. To make you an idea, I did 8 Articuno, 11 moltres, 12 Zapdos and so far 3 entei raids.
To summarize, once I get over 90% I would stop and only spend the free pass
