If you actually think there’s some dude at Niantic sitting at his computer changing code api’s or algorithms just to prevent you from getting Riolu/Shinx specifically, you think way too highly of yourself. The 10k eggs are full of “rare” Pokémon and there are so many possible hatches that RNG can quite easily screw you over.
And no, before you suggest it, skewing egg hatches based on the amount of money you spend on the game is a ridiculous concept to program into a game, not because it’s hard, but because WHY WOULD YOU SCREW PAYING PLAYERS BY SHOEHORNING THEM INTO A SUBSET OF EGG HATCHES?!?!

Get over it dude. Niantic does make blatant cash grabs all the time but this is just you losing your cool and projecting your frustration onto the “big bad corporation” that’s “out to get us all”

Shinx is a tier 1 raid.

Walk 50km per week and have 2 open egg slots on Monday morning, chances are you will get a Riolu in a few weeks.

You're a fucking idiot. IN YOUR OWN POST you mention other 10k hatches that you haven't seen all month but single out Riolu? You only care because it's the only one you don't have yet, if you were missing Aerodactyl but had Riolu you'd be saying the same thing about that.

1. Niantic is a company. Their main goal is to make money. Is Riolu a cash grab? Yup. And that's ok.

2. Why do you still play this game? Seriously. You talk about the "definition of madness" in your post, which is precisely what playing this game has become for you. You know how this game works, you don't like it, and yet you still keep playing and expect things to change because you don't like them.

3. No one here is naive. You're just a self-absorbed doof with the temperament of a spoiled adolescent.

It took me 3+ months to hatch my first Wynaut and that was more like 100-200 5km eggs without any luck. Sure I'm also frustrated at the moment about not having Riolu, but it's just RNG and Riolu obviously is pretty rare.

Seriously, really seriously: are you enjoying this game at least? Because if you "had never experienced this level of frustration past trying to get my first Mewtwo invite" (which may be much, I don't know, it sounds much frustrating) and are not even having fun playing at other moments, I'm afraid this game may not be good for you. If it brings you nothing but bad feelings, I suggest you reevaluate your investment in the game, just so you can me happier. I'm not saying quit the game, but maybe play less and enjoy something else in life with the time earned instead. Or lower your expectations?

I have been skipping more and more events and stuff in the game lately, I stopped caring about having all the new stuff, and I can tell you I enjoy the game more. It requires to find replacements for things you have not, which are not optimal but decent. I do that considering the resources and spawns that I can get, and it's fun optimizing my teams even if they are not the best. I like having Houdooms in my dark attack team. I like using Golem and Alolan Golem in my rock attack team. And I am less salty when I miss out something. Trust me, the game is more fun like this, and so is life.

i got my riolu already, but i hatched like 300 eggs on the helloween event and lots of them where 10 km eggs

but things, i never want too see again

i got like 9 pichu, but no shiny

and a friend of mine got already 3! shiny togepi, i got like 60 normal ones, still no shiny ;(
