I think with new systems will be prioritary to MAX all best specie of usable pkmn, especially attackers for RAIDS

we'll get to know...

I was wondering the same thing.

I think we've learned that with the old system, it didn't pay off to power up attackers past level 30.

The only reason we powered up defenders past 30 was to have higher CP....but we think CP isn't going to be as important....

So I would hold off on powering up any Mons until we know the answers.

They now have to do actual defending instead of just hogging top spots. Another question is whether species with double weaknesses deserve the power-up now, except for attacking.

Tyranitar and dragonite will still be worth it for the raids I would guess, but I doubt rhydon and Gary are worth it. I think there will be more reason to take attsckers past 30 like jolteon, ttar, Dnite, eggecutor, etc for the raids

As others have pointed out, raid attackers might make sense. Maybe it is worth maxing out that Dragonite for attacking. Too early yet to say though.

I max/get within 200-400cp of final max because not every pokemon has a CP of 3k so I get them to about lvl30-32 and they just eat the Pokemon that have high cp. (In my experience.)

My level 35 Dragonite does way way way more damage than my level 29 one. Movesets the same, IVs are close. Maxed out mons will always have an advantage.
