Party hat Raichu?

Has anyone confirmed that Raichu keeps the party hat when a party hat Pikachu is evolved? I assume that he does, as with the Santa hat Pikachu/Raichu, but I'd appreciate confirmation before I spend the Pikachu candies.

Yup he does. I evolved mine yesterday. :)

Cool, thanks, I suppose I'll keep one of each, like I did with the Santa versions.

I have evolved two.
- Yes, it keeps the party hat.
- Yes, Brick Break is still just as disappointing.
- Yes, Spark/Wild Charge is awesome.

Seen one wild Raichu during this event. A wild caught Raichu does not come with a party hat.

Very interesting about the wild Raichu. A Raichu with a caught date during this event, that doesn't have a party hat, will be much rarer than a party hat Raichu. My daughter and I were wondering today if Pichus from eggs acquired or hatched during this event would have the part hat.
