Other Than Rayquaza

What are the relevant legendaries worth RC'ing going into gen 4 for legendary match ups?

*Sidenote, am i the only one that feels there should be another look at the safe bets for gen 4 page with al the stuff that's come out lately?

I could be wrong but I think when most of Gen 3 piled in they wrote a winners/losers article to sum it up. It's still very early in Gen 4's life and anything could change for the unreleased Pokemon. Not to mention they've begun revisiting older Pokemon such as adding Lick to Gengar's movepool.

Yeah and with an upcoming CP rebalance that's possibly before/at the same time as they release the bulk of Gen 4, I don't think there's any point in revisiting that page. The information there is still very valid and even covers some speculations about new moves from Game Master. I'd expect it to change after we get any additional info from Niantic

Top attacking legendaries against gen 4 legendaries:
Rayquaza, SB Mewtwo, Groudon.

Groudon only has one target, Heatran, and Garchomp, Rhyperior and Mamoswine will be close in DPS. I wouldn't invest in Groudon before it gets rerun.

What about Dialga? Groudon should be a viable option with high TDO, especially against an electric charge move if that turns out to be the case.

Machamp has higher DPS and everyone has them. Little reason to invest in Groudon considering that, even if it's the best TDO option. Makes for a good anchor if you already have one.

I would even argue that Rayquaza is so special. Dragonite can do just as good in most cases. Still worth the candy, no doubt.

Mewtwo, if you didn't fill your reserves with hundreds of candy during last month.

Mewtwo, Groudon, Rayquaza, Kyogre, Raikou.

But try to transfer RC to those that you have immediate intention to power up and transfer only the necessary amount - e.g. 248 candies to maxout a legendary from Level 20. Im hoarding RC for upcoming legendaries or backup to maxout any new Gen 4 pokemon that will be meta relevant.

Kyogre has historically been one of the best options for Tier 3 *especially* the difficult ones, Tangela excepted. I would probably power up a Kyogre before most other legendaries, solely because it's almost always easier to solo something than to find a group of people.

Think outside the tier 5 box!
