Opinions on my Exeggutors

So I have two separate exeggutors, both of which have the exact same 95.6% IVs. One knows Zen Headbutt and Psychic and the other knows Confusion and Psychic. I kind of wanted an offensive Exeggutor, but it doesn't know the typical Solar Beam that you would normally want, whereas the other would be the perfect defensive exegg. Even though the offensive one doesn't know solar beam, the zen headbutt and psychic combo is still quite powerful, but would it be worth it since it wouldn't have the super effective bonus against water types? I'm also thinking that eventually there will be trainer battles at which point zen headbutt/psychic could potentially be the best offensively. I'm just curious to see what others would do in this situation.

I would go defense with that IV. Wait for a solar beam for attack, even if it's a lower IV since it's an attacker. I have that exact exeggutor (96, confusion, psychic), it's around 2550 cp. It's pretty damn good.

I have an ZH/P powered untill 2278 with 87% ivs and other 100% IV ZH/SB powered 2490 and waiting more candies to full up. Both are usefull and ur Conf/Psy are amazing to defense. Power up both, so great ivs.

Why wasting candies for powering up a ZH/SB Exegg? Keep it 1-1.3K CP and he'll be a perfect trainer&attacker

Try this monster level 30 then you tell me what is a perfect attacker. Some of my poke i will never stop powering up. My 100% ZH/SB Exeggutor certainly will be one of these. Such a monster.

Confusion/Psychic makes a great defender. I've got one I've powered up to 1877 (91.1% IV). I want to power it up to the max, but I'd like an attacker too so was holding onto the 35 candy in the hope of hatching an egg in the Halloween event.

As I think ex is poor defender, everyone has fire to wreck it hard. Ex is great attacker into water and that's it.

It depends on the make up of the gym and how many defenders there are. Are gym attackers going to use up one of their valuable six spots on a fire Poke if most of the defenders don't have the fire weakness?

Exeggutor actually puts up a good fight against most fire pokemon - I remember attacking into an Exeggutor with a similar CP Flareon once. The Exeggutor won. -.- Arcanine is pretty good about taking it out, but you'll still take a fair amount of damage in the process.
