Old eggs don't double

Damn, that sucks.

I might be wrong, but I think the lower limit for a 2kmbegg is 3. Double it and you end up with 6th.
Let's see what others report.

The timing can be off with couple of minutes I go double XP on some catches before the exact cut off plus the didn't say double candy the said more , but double XP , have you got double XP from the egg ?

I had the same thing. I just cleared my eggs restocking now

I would advise that those about to hatch their saved 10Ks in mass hold off to make sure there is no event glitch or if that part is just not updated.

But honestly I thought this might be the case. Sucks.

They did say more candy and not double candy but I'll confirm once I hatch these.

I got a 10 km before the event, just hatched it and got 34 candies, which is 2 above the usual maximum. So I guess old eggs do give more. I got a Mareep by the way, I am so happy! :D

Man, I saved 10K eggs too. Anyone else confirm that they getting "more" candies for OLD eggs obtained before the event?

Even on double candies, it wasn't really double, it was just the range was wider...

10km eggs normally give 16 - 32 candies...
The event range then became 32 - 64 during Halloween, etc...which means you can get an odd number like 33 if you were unlucky.

Once someone hatches something and can hit 64, we know it's double again OR, not...

Even if not, getting 32 MIN still blows away the min of 16 candies normally...

From reading some of the threads on silph, it sounds like the "more candies" even for 2km and 5km hatches is just 1-3 candies so from what I see so far, NEW and OLD eggs are just +1-3 candies more...

After hatching I received a higher amount of candies.

for instance I received 34 candies from a Mareep hatch.
