Odds on Shiny Pikachu? With hat?
First does shiny pikachu with hat exist, or are we screwed out of shinies for the duration of the Halloween event?
Second, what are the odds on shiny. I have a good local Pikachu nest and have caught 89 Pika in the past two days - still no shiny. I plan on going back to try again.

And while the above post is correct for generation 5 and earlier the 1 in 8192 odds have changed. From gen 6 and afterwards I believed the odds were doubled, 1 in roughly 4200. In Go the odds are far better. I don't have the exact answer but most people estimate roughly 1 in 300. That said, you can only encounter several shiny variants.
