Not a question but a friendly reminder
Last week I got a 96iv Raikou with 15A and I powered up right away as I thought it is good enough for me...
Luckily I caught a 1913 Raikou today (my first perfect legendary:)). I'm still happy with my 96iv... So it makes sense to power up only after the legendary is not available if you intend only power one per legendary.

Crazy luck you guys. I would be good with any one of those you got.
Done 40 Raikou raids already and I've only saw one above 1900 (a 1905) and failed to catch it (all excellent throws in upper left corner-counterclock technique; granted, I only got 8 balls, but still..) The best one I've caught is 1896, 14atk. I'm beginning to lose hope. Happened with Zapdos too. Did 53 raids and only ever saw one above 1890 and it fled.
Do excellent throws and curve bonuses actually work? I'm 2-9 today jeez. Am I doing sth wrong?
Count your blessings guys!
I’m a consistent excellent curve ball thrower...
Worse thing is I can’t happen to come across good ones. I’d meet an “ok” one, then a dozen bad ones. I know ppl who use only their free passes and get perfect iv ones. All I’m asking is a couple more chances with 93% up.
I’ve had much much better luck with Tyranitars (including two 100%) than these two electric mons. Maybe my luck ran out. But too severe a punishment(s) from the PokeGods no? First Zapdos now Raikou.
Again, congrats.
